In November 1969, Captain Rolf Wittmer pioneered formal touring activities in the Galapagos Islands with a yacht he specially designed and built to accommodate 6 passengers: the Motor Yacht "TIP TOP I". Today, Rolf Wittmer Turismo owns and operates the Tip Top Fleet.

Constructed in Guayaquil, Ecuador in 2006, to the highest levels of safety and comfort, the First Class Motor Yacht Tip Top IV is one of the newest ships cruising the Galapagos and the flagship of the three luxurious sister ships, Tip Top II, III and IV. The modern, 38 mt (125 ft) steel-hulled, air-conditioned vessel with its spacious interior and extensive deck areas is among the best ships available in its category.

GUEST ACCOMMODATION
16 Guests are accommodated in 10 large, outside cabins, each with private bathroom (toilet, shower, washbasin and vanity), locker and drawers. Cabins have 2 lower beds each which can be converted to a king size double bed. Cabins on the lower deck can become family suites with interconnecting doors.

All cabins are approximately 12 Mt sq. (120 sq. ft) in size.
The 6 Lower Deck cabins have portholes and the 4 Upper Deck cabins have large picture windows.
